Municipal Research & Services Center A great site for government research, especially information and links related to the ESA and salmon listings. Nature Conservancy of Washington Washington State branch of the Nature Conservancy. Padilla Bay National Estuarine Reserve Environmental, geological, historical, and cultural information about the Padilla Bay Reserve. People for Puget Sound News releases, Kids for Puget Sound, upcoming events, and information on getting involved. Puget Sound Water Quality Action Team For Puget Sound water quality and water resource protection and restoration. Save Our Wild Salmon A simple page designed to educate about the Northwest's salmon crisis, introduce Save Our Wild Salmon and the work they are doing, and show what you can be done to help restore the Northwest's salmon. Sierra Club of Western Washington Cascade chapter of the Sierra Club. Surfrider Foundation of Western Washington Non-profit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enhancement of the world's waves and beaches through conservation, activism, research and education. Washington Environmental Council A statewide, non-profit organization of individual volunteers and affiliated organizations working to protect, preserve, and restore the environment of Washington State. Washington State Audubon Washington State and British Columbia chapter of the Audubon society. Watershed Masters A watershed education and volunteer service program which provides practical information to citizens about reducing impacts on local water resources.

National/Worldwide Sites

Audubon Society Includes Legislative Environmental Action Alert, a Birding area, and Kid's Corner. Also contains links to home pages for local chapters of the Audubon Society. EcoLogic Covers Green Party organizations, vegetarianism, environmental activism, and more. EnviroLink Online community devoted to environmental projects and initiatives. Includes a library of environmental information and Internet GreenMarketplace listings. Greenpeace International Greenpeace is an independent, campaigning organization which uses non-violent, creative confrontation to expose global environmental problems, and to force the solutions which are essential to a green and peaceful future. League of Conservation Voters LCV works to elect a pro-environment majority to Congress. Site features the National Environmental Scorecard. National Parks and Conservation Association America's only private nonprofit citizen organization dedicated solely to protecting, preserving, and enhancing the U.S. National Park System. An association of "Citizens Protecting America's Parks," NPCA was founded in 1919 and today has more than 450,000 members. Nature Conservancy Preserving plants, animals and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive.
